When Searon grew up all that he knew was a life of greed and war until the day he met the love of his life. After that his entire world spun upside down and was replaced with compassion and serenity. However, when he believes his life to be perfect- a devastating event shatters his dreams into oblivion. Soon he finds himself walking blindly into the night with nothing but his Crimson Claymore, built from fury and revenge for the destruction of his perfect life. A long time ago he was a brilliant warrior, and even more importantly, a cunning captain that hundreds of men followed religiously into battle against incredible odds. After traveling alone for so long he comes across an old wizard who seems to entrap him in a quest to start a war. He is resilient to have company, but the wizard is stubborn and won't leave him alone. Soon, he finds himself entangled with a wizard, an elf on a mission to save her sister, and a few other companions that begins to develop into the army he didn't want. He is torn between his quest for revenge or bringing forth the courage he once had to be a leader once more and do some good for the land of Calthoria.

Still unsure? Hear what people have to say about it:
"Oh...my...God. That's all I can say and I don't even have a god(s)/goddess(es). When I "wattpad googled" 'elf' this was not what I had expect. I expect to find a stone and I have found a gem. If there is a Heaven, of any form, I shall bring this as a token to those that inhabit it." - adjppm
"Thus far the Crimson Claymore is one of the best reads that I picked up in years. You have the makings to be the next Michael Cordy (The Miracle Strain). Your keen sense to keep the reader engrossed in reading is quite remarkable. Every time I put down The Crimson Claymore I kept on referring to Searon and the novel as though it were a real tale. The depth of the story and how real it can feel .... is just WOW!!! Keep up the fantastic writing." - BinaryWarden
